Decorative bird

In this children’s craft, the child converts a balloon into a big bird. These balloons are a perfect decoration for birthdays or other kind of children’s celebration.

• Colored balloons
• Colored papers
• Colored crepe papers
• Glue
• Scissors

Inflate the balloon and tie a knot on its end

Cut out a rhombus and fold it in two parts. Glue it to the balloon: you already have the beak.

Cut out four coloured circles, two big and two small. Stick the small ones on the big ones, as in the photo, to make the eyes.

Cut out strips of crepe paper and make little cuts on them. Glue the strips in the balloon to make the wings, the tail and the crest of the bird.

Cut out two flaps of paper to make the legs. It is ready to be hung!
