Felt doll

This children’s craft allows recovering traditional toys. It can be a perfect birthday or Christmas present.

Materiales

• White paper sheets
• Felt
• Colored embroidery cotton
• Cotton
• A pencil
• Pins
• A needle

Pasos a seguir

Copy the model doll in a paper and cut it out. Bend the felt in two. Hold the paper doll to the felt with pins. Cut out the doll’s silhouette.

Sew the two parts of the doll crossing the stitches, as in the photo. Leave a part without sewing. Use that hole to fill the doll with cotton and finish sewing it.

Cut out two felt circles to make the eyes and glue them to the doll’s face.

Copy the dress in a paper and cut it out. Bend the felt in two. Put the dress on ( the top of the dress on the cloth’s fold) and cut it out.

Put the dress on the doll. Cut a wide felt strip and tie it to her waist. If you want, you can make hair with wool.
