This children’s craft will allow the girl disguising for a children’s or carnival party and to become a princess of the New World, as in Colombus’ age.

Materiales

  • 2 cardboard dishes.
  • Bronze or golden paint.
  • Glue.
  • Scissors.
  • A paintbrush.
  • A stapler.

Pasos a seguir

Cut the dishes in two equal parts. Staple three half dishes to make a crown as the one in the photo: one half dish in front and two behind.

Inca princess crown paso 1

Cut a stripe of crepe paper abour 10 cm high. Unroll it and fold it in a way that you get a rectangle 5 cm width. Cut out the shape of the feathers as in the photo.

Inca princess crown paso 2

To make the serrated rims of the feathers: bend in two the crepe paper feathers and cut out fringes along the rim (take care not to cut on the fold).

Inca princess crown paso 3

Staple the feathers in the front part of the crown. Group the feathers in colours.

Cut out geometrical colored paper shapes and glue them in the fromt part of the crown.
